I must admit, that was very quick. Here is MD Stem Cells response to our previous post:
"Thank you for the email and the link to your site. I appreciate that you are trying to provide quality information to your readers and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
MD Stem Cells specializes in the treatment of eye disease here in the United States and works exclusively with Dr Weiss.
Please correct your report to indicate that Dr Weiss is a board certified ophthalmologist who has completed two fellowships in vitreoretinal surgery and treats only ophthalmology patients. He does not provide treatment for Parkinson's disease.
However you may report that MD Stem Cells refers non-ophthalmology patients to other physicians and clinics for treatment of neurologic, pulmonary, orthopedic, aesthetic and metabolic diseases.
We work in a licensed surgical center in Florida with board certified anesthesiologists, a board certified orthopedic surgeon for the bone marrow aspiration, use an FDA cleared class 2 device for the separation of the BMSC -autologous bone marrow derived stem cells- and provide them through retrobulbar, subtenons and potentially intravitreal injections depending on the vision. We are very pleased with patient responses so far.
Best regards, Steven Levy MD"
